Lodge Peace Reach Adventures offers its
guests over 6,000 square kilometers (approximately 2,300 square miles) of the
most rugged and remote mountains in the Rocky Mountain Range. Some areas consist
of unexplored rivers, waterfalls, streams, mountain top lakes and flower filled
valley bottoms.
Wildlife viewing opportunities abound here. Mountain Caribou, Moose, Stone
Sheep, Mountain goats, Elk (Wapiti), Wolves, Coyote, Lynx, Wild Fox, Wolverine,
Marmots, and Ermine (Marten), as well as a healthy population of Black and
Grizzly bears can be found in what has become known throughout the world as the
'Serengeti of the North'.
The wildlife, the rugged, unexplored mountains, the 'peace' of being in this
remote, pristine environment cannot but inspire in each of our guests a sense of
oneness with something this great. To stand in the sunshine under the blue
skies, on the top of a mountain no one has ever stood on since the beginning of
time is truly a wonder.
